House for Sale in Kuraby
Pre-Market Opportunity. Four Bedrooms Plus Study plus Pool

Picture the first open home. Three groups walk through, and they could not be less alike.
• WHO IS AT THE DOOR
The first is a family with a toddler and another on the way. They have spent two years negotiating with a staircase, and they have lost most of those negotiations.
The second is a couple bringing a parent home. For them the stairs are not a preference, they are the entire decision, and they have been looking for eight months without finding a single home where the answer is simply yes.
The third has raised their children, sold the big two storey place, and is now discovering that most downsizing means giving up the shed, the yard and the pool all at once. They are not ready to do that.
All three of them walk out wanting the same house. Only one gets it.
• WHAT THEY ARE ALL LOOKING AT
A single level brick home on a 626 square metre corner block. Four bedrooms, a separate study, two bathrooms, an in ground pool, and roughly 235 square metres under roof.
The kitchen sits in the middle of everything and looks straight across the dining and living zone, so the person cooking is still in the conversation rather than exiled behind a wall. Living runs 3.7m x 5.9m and opens onto a covered patio of 7.3m x 4.5m, which looks over the pool.
Now walk in the front door, because the bedroom layout is the part worth slowing down for.
Immediately on your right is the study at 2.8m x 3.1m. A proper room with a proper door, not a desk wedged into an alcove and photographed from a flattering angle. Keep walking and the hallway takes you past the ensuite and walk in robe into the main bedroom at 3.8m x 3.5m, with bedroom two beyond it at 3.5m x 3.6m.
The other two are nowhere near them. Bedroom four sits on the other side of the entry at 3.1m x 3.1m, tucked beside the kitchen and the garage. Bedroom three is right down the back at 3.2m x 3.3m, off the living room and next door to the main bathroom.
Read that again, because it is unusual. This is not four doors off one corridor. It is four bedrooms in three separate parts of the house, and every one of them has a robe.
The garage is 6.4m x 5.5m, wider than most, and running alongside it is a built in workshop with a store area off the back. That is a room whose entire job is projects. Some of you have already stopped reading and gone to the photos. Fair enough.
Ducted air conditioning throughout, dishwasher, water tank, remote garage, and a yard that gives you your Saturdays back.
• WHY THEY ALL WANT THE SAME ONE
Because in this pocket of Kuraby, almost everything this size went up instead of out.
Two storeys is the default here. It is cheaper to build, it fits a smaller block, and it works beautifully right up until the moment somebody in the house cannot climb. Then it quietly stops working, and there is no fixing it.
This home went out. Onto a corner block, on the high side of the street, with two street frontages, more light than a standard lot, and a breeze that runs straight through the middle of it. There is not one stair in the entire house. The letterbox even says 25, because the corner gives the place a second address on Keith Street. Two addresses, one set of rates.
The other thing worth saying plainly. This home has been lived in rather than styled. It has been genuinely well looked after and it is ready to move into tomorrow, but it has not been recently renovated and we are not going to pretend otherwise.
That is deliberate on our part. Sound structure, right floor plan, and cosmetics left on the table means new paint and new flooring will do more here than a full renovation would do almost anywhere else in this suburb. Buy the layout, because you cannot change it. Everything else is a weekend and a decision.
WHERE IT IS
Keith Street is a wide street in the Domain estate connecting Millers Road to Beenleigh Road
Kuraby train station is walkable, which puts you on the Beenleigh line without starting the car. Underwood Marketplace, Sunnybank Plaza and Market Square are all short drives. The Gateway and the Pacific Motorway are minutes away. Karawatha Forest is close enough that the dog will learn the turn. The Brisbane CBD is about 21 kilometres, roughly 25 minutes if you are sensible about when you leave.
Kuraby State School is the local primary, with Runcorn State High and Rochedale State High nearby. Confirm catchment for your own address before you bank on it.
WHY IT IS FOR SALE
The owners are liquidating an asset. That is the whole story.
No estate, no separation, no third party who has to sign something from overseas. Just a clean decision and a clean transaction, which after the last few years in this market is more refreshing than it should be.
WHEN YOU CAN SEE IT
Now, and quietly, until Monday 12 October.
This is a pre market opportunity, which means the home is not yet on the open market and you are not yet standing in a hallway with forty other people pretending not to look at each other.
It also means you can still buy it on your terms. Finance. Building and pest. Subject to the sale of your own place. All of that is available right now in a way it will not be on auction day, when the terms are identical for everybody and unconditional is the price of entry.
Private inspections seven days, mornings, evenings or weekends.
If the right offer arrives before 12 October, the owners will deal. If not, this goes public on Monday 19 October and to auction on site on Saturday 7 November 2026, time to be advised.
Three buyers, one house, one Saturday in November. You can do that maths.
WHO IT IS FOR
We know what it is. We know where it is. We know why it is for sale, and we know when it is going.
The only part of this story still missing is who.
One of those three groups at the door walks away with it. The other two go back to scrolling through two storey homes and telling themselves the stairs will be fine.
